No problems. I needed this book and was able to purchase it for a fraction of the cost. It was in great condition as the owner had said.
The etiology of each disease in not discussed and if it is then it is not clear and is not well explained. One cannot really learn from the discussion given in the text. It is relatively inexpensive so this is also an advantage but other than this there is no advantage over other books with respect to to the explanation in the text. As it says, it is a really an atlas rather than a textbook. As an atlas so I think it is good but the clinical synopsis is not well written.
This is a classic reference with so many color photos, you will find yourself referring to it over and over again.
www.laser18.com I highly recommend this book for family doctors, pediatricians and generalists. This book is unique and invaluable to teach medical students and residents. The images are clear and concise and the treatments are logically listed in order of importance.
A favorite in our ER. Also includes differential diagnoses, course and prognosis, and management. I really like this book. The descriptions and pictures are very helpful.
